Third COVID-19 vaccination clinic at UMaine on Wednesday

The University of Maine is collaborating with the Penobscot Community Health Center to deliver and administer the Johnson & Johnson and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to members of the university community and the public, ages 16 and older, from 1–2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, at Wells Conference Center.

The J&J is a one-dose vaccine, with a 14-day, full-immunization period post injection. Moderna is a two-dose vaccine with a 28-day period between the two injections, then a 14-day, full-immunization period post second vaccination.

No appointment is needed; the vaccine is administered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow enough time to complete the required vaccination forms on arrival. Once you receive the vaccine, there is a 15-minute wait before leaving the clinic.

Vaccinations are provided at no cost. If you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card. Health insurance is not a requirement to receive vaccination.
