Centralmaine.com promoted a new book authored by Glenn H. Mittelhauser, and published by the University of Maine Press. “Wildflowers of Maine Islands” documents the flowers found on islands off the coast of Hancock, Knox, Waldo and Washington counties. Mittelhauser’s other works include “Plants of Acadia,” “Grasses and Rushes of Maine” and “Sedges of Maine.” All are available from University of Maine Press.
