Maine NEW Leadership Program Featured
The Maine NEW Leadership Conference, a program of UMaine’s Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center, was featured in the Bangor Daily News. The program, which wrapped up Tuesday, provides leadership development opportunities for female college students in Maine who are interested in becoming politically active. Former State Senator Mary Cathcart, a senior policy associate at the center, was interviewed for the story.
