Fried Letter Published
The Bangor Daily News published a letter to the editor written by UMaine political scientist Amy Fried, about the recent vote by the Maine House to do away with same-day voter registration. Fried wrote in her letter that taking away the ability to register to vote on Election Day is an example of a limitation on voting rights.
