Bangor Daily column cites April 9 biodiversity summit
A Bangor Daily News column by U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree highlighted the April 9 Maine Forest Bioeconomy Summit, which will feature Jake Ward, University of Maine vice president for innovation and economic development, and Adam Daigneault, assistant professor of forest, conservation and recreation policy, as panelists in discussions of sustainable forestry and climate change and advancing the forest bioeconomy. Aaron Weiskittel, director or the Center for Research on Sustainable Forests at UMaine, will moderate the climate change discussion. More information about the summit is online.
