About the speaker: Dr. Rosen is an endocrinologist and bone biologist. He is the former president of the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and was recently elected to the American Association of Physicians, the first Maine physician to be selected, for his pioneering research and clinical efforts. His basic laboratory and clinical research trials have been continuously funded by NIH for more than 30 years. He has published more than 600 peer review publications and has been a member of two NIH Institute Advisory Committees- NIAMS and NIA. He is now serving in his 9th year as an associate editor at New England Journal of Medicine.
