Research:  I am interested in marine nitrogen cycling. My previous research examined the role of nitrogen fixation in subtropical seagrass beds in Florida. Currently, I am studying the fluxes and their controlling factors of dissimilatory nitrate reduction to ammonium (DNRA), anammox, and denitrification in anoxic coastal sediments.
