Brown Environmental Fellows Program

Online applications for the Brown Environmental Fellows Program are due January 15, 2010. Contact potential faculty mentors or student partners now!  For more information, contact Prof. Leslie via email.

The Brown Environmental Fellows (BEF) Program will introduce undergraduate environmental scientists to the dynamic interface between environmental science, policy, and practice. Working with Brown faculty and environmental practitioners, fellows will gain direct experience pursuing environmental research in the context of regulatory and conservation practice. A shared senior seminar will build leadership and engagement skills and provide a broader perspective on the challenges of understanding global environmental change and the search for solutions. The Brown Environmental Fellows (BEF) Program will introduce undergraduate environmental scientists to the dynamic interface between environmental science, policy, and practice.
