Summit Innovation

Summit Innovation encourages interaction in innovation and entrepreneurship around and beyond the University of Maine community.

Students sign up for this program for the academic year 2018-2019 and work to earn points by attending events, developing innovative ideas and solutions, and becoming engaged in all that the Foster Center has to offer. Based on earned points, students earn prize money deposited into their UMaine student account!

The program kicked off in spring 2018 where 18 students participated with 80+ different engagements and $2100 given out in prize money.  Students who participated in the program found value in seeing the opportunities available to them and with building their network of peers, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

This year the program is gearing up with many great opportunities for students with additional reward options for those students that deeply immerse themselves in innovation.

If you are interested in signing up for the program please contact Matthew Hodgkin (matthew.hodgkin@maine.edu)
