Innovate for Maine and COVID-19: Updated for 2022

Innovate for Maine is designed to be an in-person experience and we hope and expect to host the program in person in 2022. However, public health circumstances may dictate changes.

On the application, we will ask you to indicate your general preferences and comfort level with respect to in person and remote experiences. You can update this information at any time if your feelings or circumstances change.

Boot camp: We are planning for a mostly in-person boot camp in 2022. If public health circumstances related to the pandemic change, we may revise these plans. We will monitor the situation and share updates as available.

Internship: Public health circumstances and guidance will dictate whether placements are in-person or remote. Circumstances are evolving, but we are planning for in-person placements in 2022.

As we have all learned over the past two years, this is an evolving situation. We are committed to providing the best and safest experience possible, and science and public health recommendations will guide all program-related decision-making.
