Why did you decide to become a GSG senator?: Be able to be an intermediary to voice the needs for all forestry students

How would you best serve your constituents?: To engage full range of SFR community which requires deliberate action to ensure voices are heard and heeded and encourage continuous dialog that grows, deepens and build trust among local and international student community.

Please tell us about your research or some fun facts about you: I am utilizing remote sensing to map and monitor forest carbon. I enjoy nature walks and listening and dancing to different genres of music from different parts of the world.

How do you plan on communicating with your constituents?:  I shall engage with constituents via zoom meetings, planned social gatherings, and emails and/ or one-to-one interactions. Engagements should cultivate trust and build relationships, therefore, create a space to find a common ground so students’ experiences at UMaine is fulfilling.
