Graduate Center

The Graduate Center provides a wonderful space for students to work, learn, share and present their work.  The Graduate Center, Graduate Student Government, Graduate School and Graduate Residence Hall are located in the same building.  A former residence and dining hall, Stodder Hall has been completely renovated a few years ago to help further the needs of graduate studies at the University of Maine.

All graduate students have 24 hour access to the space through their MaineCard (door on the left in the picture).  There are computers for use by students, a photocopier / printer and a variety of comfortable places to work privately or with a group.  Their is also a small kitchen with a sink, microwave, kettle and fridge.

Please contact Crystal Burgess at the Graduate School if you need to reserve the Graduate Commons – Room 57 – for large events (guest speakers, conferences, oral defense, etc.) or the large conference room – Room 48 – for smaller events.  Both spaces have built in projectors with screens and a sound system.
