Michelle Volk, a candidate for the Master of Science degree in Ecology and Environmental Sciences, will be defending her thesis titled: “The Effect of Broad-scale Climate and Microclimate Conditions on Ixodes Scapularis (Acari: Ixodidae) Overwintering Survival and Distribution in Maine.”
