Bio: Doreen Page is an adjunct faculty member with the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development. She is an instructor for students in early childhood education and children and family studies, as well as student teachers. Page taught for nearly 40 years in the Brewer, Maine public school system. She was named Maine Administrators of Services for Children with Disabilities’ Teacher of the Year in 2006. Page developed and coordinated the Transitional Advantages Program at Brewer High School and has been a presenter at the national conference of TASH, an international disability advocacy organization.
