Bio: Debra Lewis Hogate is the Maine Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy (MPCL) Trainer for the College of Education and Human Development where she works to provide professional development for literacy coaches, teachers and administrators in Maine. She worked for more than 30 years as a classroom and special education teacher K-8, Title IA and Reading Recovery interventionist, MPCL coach and Title IA coordinator. Her research interests include oral language development, student problem-solving speech, coaching theory and practice, and professional development.
