Mikayla Palmer: Outstanding Student in Elementary Education
Mikayla Palmer of Gardiner, Maine is the 2021-2022 outstanding student in elementary education. Mikayla is completing her degree with a concentration in child development and a minor in communication sciences and disorders. As an undergraduate student, she served as president of Student MEA, was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Maine Top Scholars, and participated in Alternative Breaks and the Emerging Leaders program.
