7th annual Correll Early Literacy Conference to be held April 28
The seventh annual Correll Early Literacy Conference will be held Saturday April 28 in the Memorial Union’s Bangor Room on the University of Maine campus. The theme of this year’s conference is “Raising Voices: Using Literacy to Help Young Children Find their Voices.”
Mary Ellin Logue, associate professor of early childhood education and director of the School of Learning and Teaching in the College of Education and Human Development, will give opening remarks. Susan Bennett-Armistead, associate professor of literacy education and chair of the Correll Book Awards selection committee, will also speak briefly to participants.
