THE SoTL WRITING CIRCLE
The SoTL Writing Circle is a new initiative designed to strengthen and expand faculty scholarship programming through a supportive, semester-long writing community. Open to both new and experienced scholars of teaching and learning, this program offers a structured space for faculty to develop, draft, and refine Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) projects—whether preparing an IRB for the first time or submitting a well-developed manuscript.
Through weekly sessions alternating between focused writing labs and collaborative learning opportunities on relevant topics, participants will benefit from peer accountability partners, guided reflection, and dedicated writing time to support focused progress. As a group we will also plan for a capstone session after the semester for closure and final drafting. Whether new or experienced in SoTL, this circle offers the structure, community, and momentum needed to move your project forward.
Weekly on Thursdays from 1:00pm – 2:00pm starting on September 4th.
We are no longer accepting registrations for this CoP.

By the end of the program you will:
> Complete, or make significant progress on a SoTL writing project, such as an IRB, article manuscript, or conference proposal.
> Provide, receive and apply feedback through peer exchange and review..
> Create a personalized action plan for submission, or next-stage development.
> Explore strategies for sustainable writing habits through reflection, accountability and peer coaching.
