Recently Hired Faculty: Small Changes with Big impacts

In-Person | Alternate Thursdays from 11am-12pm starts Jan 23rd

As a continuation of a learning community for new faculty in the fall, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning will offer an informal conversation-based learning community specifically for recently hired faculty through the spring semester.

Self-care, your personal experiences and building community will be central tenets of this group. This time is meant to provide community and support to those who are starting on their teaching development path. We will use the book Small Teaching (provided at our first meeting) as a guide to explore our collective teaching experiences and pedagogical approaches that are both manageable to adopt and known to have positive impacts.

Instructors of any rank are welcome to join.  Please share.

A $200 stipend will be provided for those who are eligible.
