Employer Information

The Career Fair takes place in the New Balance Student Recreation Center (Rec Center) on the Orono campus.  Signs will direct you to unload at the Rec Center entrance, and park in the designated reserved employer parking as follows:

1) Underwriter and Supporter Sponsors will be able to park in the Rec Center lot and 2) All other employer parking is available in the CCA and Belgrade lots. A shuttle van will be provided.

Please print the permit (linked below) to bring with you. Permits will also be available at the Rec Center entrance. 

We encourage carpooling and earlier arrival to the fair. Some parking areas require some walking to the Rec Center, so we encourage making use of the employer drop-off area at the Rec Center front entrance if needed.  Signs will direct you and student volunteers will assist you with your materials.

Your 6-foot table and a continental breakfast will be ready by 8:30 am, please arrive and be set up by 9:30 am.  We ask that you bring identifying signage to display and descriptive materials to show or distribute to students about your open positions and which majors you are currently recruiting.

If you plan to ship any display materials to the fair, we urge you to do so by Friday, October 11th, and if needed please PRE-PAY & SCHEDULE A PICK-UP with your shipping company. Pick up should be scheduled between 2:00-2:30 pm on October 16th following the event, from the Rec Center address. Please address your shipments and pick-up to:

The fair will begin at 10:00 am, when students will be admitted.  A catered lunch buffet will be served between 11:30 am-1:30 pm, concurrent with the fair.  The fair will conclude at 2:00pm.

When planning your attire for the fair, please be advised that the Rec Center, although heated, can get chilly at times. We encourage you to dress warmly.

If you are interested in using the Rec Center facilities before or after the fair you may do so at no charge. Tell Rec Center staff that you are a visiting Career Fair employer at the front desk and they will have you sign a waiver.
