Apparel guidelines

Option 1

The University of Maine full crest logo or the Maine bear logo goes on the left breast pocket area of the garment. The group’s name can be underneath the logo or elsewhere on the garment. The rest of the front, sleeves and back are available for the organization to use for other graphics.

Option 2

The University of Maine full crest logo or the Maine bear logo can be top and centered on the front of the garment. The logo can be large or small but it must be placed above other artwork on the front of the shirt.

Suggested apparel colors

While you may choose your apparel color, we recommend using white, light gray, dark gray, light blue or dark blue. Below are images of the recommended apparel colors and the logo color options and the university approved logo color options. Do not change the university logo color to match your design.

What not to do

The university logo too small and not in the correct position.

The university logo is not on the front of the garment.

The university logo color should never be changed to match the design. Acceptable UMaine logo colors are white, gray, black, light blue or dark blue.

The reversed black bear head is not the correct version. The black bear head should never be used without the UMaine logo or the Maine wordmark.
