Abstract: The objectives of our proposed research are 1) to model (in-silico) the patterns of dispersal (propagation of larvae) along eastern coast to central Maine to predict source populations of scallop seed, 2) to increase the number of potential seed source populations in Gulf of Maine that have been genotyped, and 3) to genotype seed arriving at current and potential AQ sites to genetically connect seed to source populations, testing hypotheses developed using the hydrodynamic model.
