UMaine political scientist Mark Brewer was interviewed for a Portland Press Herald report about Maine Gov. Paul LePage’s first year in office. Brewer said despite all the controversy in the past year, LePage has been incredibly effective on issues such as tax cuts, health insurance reforms and welfare reforms.
