Welcome to the EWB-UMaine home page.We are a group of students with an interest in improving the quality of life for people in developing countries by working with communities on sustainable engineering projects. Students from all majors are welcome to join our group. We recently finished the implementation of our Community Septic System Project in Honduras over spring break. UPDATE: We are proud to announce that EWB-UMaine was selected as the winner of the Newman’s Own Foundation Campus Community Service Challenge and was awarded $25,000! Here’s a great article about the award from UMaine News. And click here to see a video about the award.

We are also excited to announce that we have been awarded the Woodard and Curran Foundation grant for $5,000! This generous grant has brought us a third of the way closer to our fundraising goal.
