Students - Tk20 Information

The College of Education uses Tk20 HigherEd™ as a comprehensive online data management system for all student activities related to teacher or administrator certification for specific programs. Students enrolled in any these programs are required to purchase an account within Tk20 which will enable them to complete course assignments, build professional portfolios, and provide information regarding field experiences, student teaching and administrative internships. There is a one-time, $100 fee for a Tk20 account which will be assessed to the student’s account when he/she activates the Tk20 account. The Tk20 account will be active for seven years after the date of activation.
Tk20 will offer refunds for student accounts per the following policy:
- For accounts completely unused within 30 days of purchase: Full Refund
- For accounts unused between 31 days and 6 months of purchase: 50% Refund
- No Refunds will be issued after 6 months under any condition
If you feel you are eligible for a refund, please send an email to Tk20.support@umit.maine.edu to discuss the issue. We can contact Tk20 directly and initiate the refund process if it is warranted.
