Government of Canada International Scholarships
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) is responsible for the Government of Canada’s participation in major International Scholarship Programs. DFAIT provides support to international scholars in Canada, which is often reciprocated by foreign governments which support Canadian scholars in their countries.

Québec Government Grants
The Québec Government has grants available for faculty to revise currently taught courses to include Québec content or to create new courses focused on Québec. There are also grants for bringing speakers from Québec, for library acquisitions and for other programming.

Government of Canada Faculty Enrichment Program
The Faculty Enrichment Program (Course Development) provides faculty members an opportunity to develop or update a course with substantial Canadian content that will be offered as part of their regular teaching load. Applicants may request funding up to $6,000 and an additional $5,000 for student mobility.

Government of Canada Research Grant Program
Research grants are designed to assist individual scholars or a team of scholars in writing an article-length manuscript of publishable quality that contributes to a better knowledge and understanding of Canada, its relationship with the United States, and its international affairs. Applicants may request funding up to $20,000.

Government of Canada Conference Grant Program
This grant is intended for US four-year colleges and universities or research institutions that undertake a conference on a Canadian, Canada-US or North American issue. Applicants may request up to $20,000.
