Hauck Auditorium and Shibles Hall closed Monday morning October 7

Hauck Auditorium and Shibles Hall are currently without power and are closed for repairs Monday morning. Morning classes in those buildings are canceled. Power is expected to be restored this afternoon. Students should contact their instructors if they have any questions. A follow up message will be sent once the buildings are reopened.

BASICS

The Brief Alcohol Screening Intervention for College Students (BASICS) is a program designed to help students explore their drinking in a non-judgement environment. This program can be done in a group or individually. Students may self-refer or may be assigned after a student conduct violation.

Blood Alcohol Content (BAC): A person’s BAC informs them how intoxicated they are. While it isn’t exact, it is able to give a general understanding of how a person’s body will react. Factors that affect BAC include body mass, amount you drink, how quickly you drink, biology, and levels of food and medication in your system.
