Recipients of 2023-2024 Servant Heart Scholarships
The recipients for the 2023-2024 Servant Heart Scholarships have been chosen. This scholarship fund is made possible by an anonymous gift intended to benefit students who are committed to community service and volunteer outreach. The Servant Heart Scholarship is offered as an expression of the donors’ Christian faith. The scholarship is awarded to students who connect public service with their academic work and who apply practical solutions to real world problems. Applying students must exhibit their devotion to community service and to their community by having served regularly during the last year.
The recipients are:
Paige Allen – Senior Honors Student, Sociology Major with Double Minor in Ethics and Political Philosophy and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies; from Mendon, MA
Katharine Poulin – Junior Honors Student, History Major with Double Minor in International Affairs and Spanish; from Kennebunk, ME
Brenna Jones – Senior Honors Student, Sociology Major with Double Minor in Criminal Justics and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies; from Bar Harbor, ME
Abigail Miller – Senior Honors Student, Sociology Major with Minor in Criminal Justice; from Gorham, ME
