CISV Maine Seeking Summer Volunteer Trip Leaders
CISV Maine (formerly Children’s International Summer Villages) chapter has short term summer 2023 programs looking for leaders ages 21+ for all expense paid trips to Italy or France. CISV focuses on youth leadership, peace education, sustainable development, and conflict resolution with a multicultural and DEIA focus. CISV’s mission is “to educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world.” A great experience for anyone with an interest in working with diverse populations, youth, making the world a better place, building leadership and organizational skills, working in the non profit world, etc (great to add to a resume). And if desired, one can make this a long term involvement, one that goes beyond Summer 2023–they could take on a board position, leadership role, etc.
