  • Remote Mentoring Options:

Please indicate your child's level of interest in the following remote mentoring options.
  • MentorNet (also called TheApp) is a website service moderated by BBM program staff and protected by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine. Mentees are able to contact their mentor at any time, similar to instant messaging. Mentees would need access to a device which can access the internet to participate.
  • Regularly scheduled Zoom meetings, monitored by BBM staff. Meetings would be between 30-45 minutes long and could occur either at home, or at school (if space allows). At home, mentees would need a Zoom-compatible device, with or without a camera, and internet access to participate.
  • Bi-weekly letters from mentors. Each letter from their mentor includes activities (crossword, coloring page, etc), a page to write a letter to their mentor, and a pre-paid envelope. Mentees would need a writing utensil to participate.
