Take Pride in Acadia Day 2017
Over 100 UMaine students got up early on Saturday, November 4 and made the trip down to Mount Desert Island to participate in the annual Take Pride in Acadia Day. This is always a great event that many students and student organizations want to participate in. Friends of Acadia welcomed nearly 500 volunteers, and after the crazy storm earlier in the week, there was a definite need for help cleaning up the carriage trails and hiking trails. Student organizations that participated include The Green Team, Orono Student Nurses Association, Alpha Delta, Gamma Sigma Sigma, Delta Zeta, KAK and Psi Delta, Sig Ep, Sophomore Eagles, and Delta Phi Episilon.
