Dr. Giudice receives the distinguished Excellence in Writing Award from the American Council of the Blind

The Ned E. Freeman Excellence in Writing Award was instituted in 1970, and is awarded annually by the American Council of the Blind (ACB) to the author of an article that demonstrates excellence in writing, originality of the subject matter, and impact of contribution to the field/community. This year, this national award was  given to Nicholas Giudice in recognition of his thought-provoking Medium  essay “COVID-19 and Blindness,” which describes the challenges blind people are facing during the pandemic.
