    • One of Maine’s greatest joys is the scattering of roadside self-serve pie stands across the state, still operating on the honor system. Puzzle Mountain Bakery is one of these, offering homemade pies, whoopie pies, cookies, and jams on the way up to Grafton Notch State Park. This is truly “the way life should be.”
