Our club has an overarching focus of promoting animal rights through advocacy, raising awareness, and fostering a safe, communal, thought-provoking space for all who are concerned with or curious about the ethics around nonhuman animals. We seek to start and welcome conversations that encourage critical thought, especially in relation to the commodification and exploitation of nonhuman animals made common in our society. This group promotes veganism as a means to end the exploitation of animals and consciously minimize all sources of unnecessary harm we may perpetuate in our consumption and lifestyle, most significantly as related to sentient beings. We are striving to make plant based diets and cruelty free lifestyle alternatives accessible and to remove the contention from conversations based in compassion and ethics.
