Seentia Islam

Seentia is an Ecology and Environmental Sciences student concentrating in Sustainability, Environmental Policy, and Natural Resource Management. She is originally from Virginia but fell in love with Maine’s beautiful landscapes and culture. While immersed in the UMaine community, Seentia discovered her passion for community outreach. She’s participated in many green initiatives on campus that have influenced her desired career path: to promote energy efficiency and sustainable practices to all levels of an organization. She plans to work to develop sustainable alternatives to the current environmental issues that face the planet today.
