Wells Central

UMaine Dining Services is committed to sustainability. They source over 20% of food purchases locally, including food grown on campus. This is in addition to composting, reducing over-purchasing of food and food prep waste, trayless dining, ensuring proper storage techniques, staff training and education, and campus recycling programs. At Wells Central, there is a biodigester that breaks down leftover food saving water and reducing food waste. Check out the UMaine Dining Services website for more information.
