September 20, 2025: Fungi Tour
Please join us for a tour of Fungi around the Orono Bog Boardwalk on Saturday, September 20. We will meet at the cabin at 10AM. Our guide is Dr. Seanna Annis, Professor of Mycology and Director of School of Biology and Ecology at the University of Maine. This will be a “point and look” walk as we will respect the no picking rule at the bog boardwalk. Dr. Annis will cover fungi that grow in fens and bogs, where you would find them and what they are doing there.
