Spring 2024 migration bird walks
Free, pre-registration required for 3 birdwalks scheduled this spring:
- May 4, 2024 Led by Dr. Adrienne Leppold, Wildlife Biologist, Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife
- May 18, 2024 Led by Dr. Brian Olsen, University of Maine Professor of Ornithology, School of Biology & Ecology
- June 1, 2024 Led by Dr. Steve Mierzykowski, Bangor regional coordinator for the Maine Bird Atlas.
Group will meet at 7AM at the Tripp Drive parking lot and walk along the Bangor Forest East-West trail to the Bog Boardwalk and around the boardwalk.
Bring binoculars, if you have them. Groups are limited to 10-12 participants and the walk will take 1-2 hours.
