BDN interviews Lilley on maple season production
Bangor Daily News interviewed Jason Lilley, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension assistant professor and maple industry educator, on the yield for this year’s maple season. Lilley said sap began flowing about one month earlier this year than it has in previous years. Although the season started out in slow production, he said yields were closer to the previous averages.
