Wujcik ranked among 2023 best rising stars in science by Research.com

Evan Wujcik, an assistant professor of chemical and biomedical engineering with a joint appointment in the Advanced Structures and Composites Center (ASCC) at the University of Maine, was named one of the Best Rising Stars of Science in 2023 by Research.com, the number one online research portal for scientists.

The list, now in its second edition, highlights top scholars whose oldest publication is from 12 years ago or less. Wujcik, who was ranked 163 in the U.S., has 67 research products  with 5,207 citations that focus on advanced materials, stretchable electronics, conductive polymers, electrospinning and green engineering.

Research.com also recognized Wujcik with its 2023 Rising Star of Science Award.
