Dill discusses deer tick activity with BDN
Griffin Dill, an integrated pest management specialist and director of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Tick Lab, spoke to the Bangor Daily News about tick activity in the fall. “So far, deer tick activity is normal for this time of year,” he said. “They will be active until temperatures remain consistently below freezing, which in some years isn’t until well into December.”
