Media cite UMaine role in monitoring algal blooms in the Gulf of Maine
The Boston Globe, Portland Press Herald and National Fisherman noted the University of Maine’s role in an informal consortium to share observations and data about an unusually large and long-lived algae bloom extending more than 100 miles across the Gulf of Maine.
