BDN highlights research into how climate change will affect coastal spruce forests
The Bangor Daily News highlighted a new research project by University of Maine students and faculty to determine how climate change will affect spruce forests along Maine’s coastline. The U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture awarded $643,848 for the project, led by Jay Wason III, a UMaine assistant professor of forest ecosystem physiology.
