Phys.org shared a news release about a recent study led by Rutgers University—New Brunswick that was co-authored by Sara Kelemen, a University of Maine master’s student of plant, soil and environmental studies. The study found that “increasing adoption of agricultural practices such as cover cropping, grazing management and agroforestry can increase the amount of carbon stored in soils to help combat climate change,” according to the release.
