BDN: UMaine awarded funds to help boost wild blueberry defense against global warming

The Bangor Daily News reported that the University of Maine was awarded a $99,894 grant to investigate using fertilizers, pollination and soil amendments to bolster wild blueberry resilience to global warming. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Specialty Crop Block Grant program.
