Smith discusses Northstar with Advertiser Democrat
The Advertiser Democrat interviewed Lynsey Smith about the NorthStar Program at the University of Maine 4-H Camp & Learning Center at Bryant Pond. The hands-on mentoring program, for which Smith serves as coordinator, connects young people with caring adults through community engagement, cultural exchange, and adventure challenge and leadership. “Our goal is to raise rural aspirations for Maine youth,” Smith said.
