Carlson discusses ways wheelchair users can garden with BDN
Lani Carlson, project coordinator for MaineAgribility, spoke with the Bangor Daily News about how people who use wheelchairs can garden. “For some people it’s amazing and enlightening and they’re relieved,” Carlson said. “They never thought they’d be able to garden again. I think there’s a lot that goes into adjusting to a new normal. Sometimes, you have to see it before you can do it.”
