Dill talks with WAGM about ladybug numbers
Jim Dill, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension pest management specialist, talked with WAGM (Channel 8 in Presque Isle) about the ladybug numbers this year in Maine. According to Dill, drought conditions facilitated a dramatic increase in aphid populations, making it a good year for those that feed on aphids, such as ladybugs.
