Social media spotlight: Noah Car

Hometown: Hobe Sound, Florida

He studies mathematics, with a concentration in applied math and a double minor in statistics and computer science. He plans on graduating in 2020 and pursue a career as a data scientist.

I’ve always been fascinated by data and data structures, and the complex information that can be gathered from a simple data set. I’m an amateur strength athlete and will compete in my first powerlifting meet this July. I also enjoy snowboarding and hiking. Professors here have been incredibly attentive and supportive, and I love the small-town feel of the campus.
