Media advances garlic growing workshop
Morning Ag Clips and Seacoast Online reported the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will offer a workshop on garlic growing from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm. UMaine Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Allan Amioka will review several types of garlic, as well as how to prepare, plant, care for and harvest the bulbs. A $5 donation is requested at the event.
